Holy Cross Hospital Auxiliary, Inc. Scholarship

HOLY CROSS HOSPITAL AUXILIARY

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

2017-2018

WHO CAN APPLY:

        1. Must be a Taos County graduating high school senior
        2. Must be accepted at an accredited 4 or 2 year university or college or accredited vocational school
        3. Must possess a high school GPA of a minimum of 3.0--UNWEIGHTED
 

TO APPLY, MAIL THE FOLLOWING MATERIALS TO THE SCHOLARSHIP CHAIR AT THE ADDRESS LISTED BELOW:

        1. Completed Common Scholarship Application by April 2, 2018.
        2. Essay Topic: How have global developments in the last year affected your way of viewing the world? (Must be at least 500 words)
        3. Three letters of recommendations
                a. Two must be from academic teachers
                b. One must be from a community member, employer, counselor, coach, or elective teacher
                c. Letters from relatives are not acceptable
        4. Official Transcript         
        5. Sign—do not print or type—your name at the end of your essay
 

FOUR (4) $1,000 SCHOLARSHIPS WILL BE GIVEN

MAIL ALL REQUIRED DOCUMENTS IN ONE ENVELOPE TO:

FAILURE TO COMPLETE ANY PORTION OF THE APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION.

ANY APPLICATION POSTMARKED AFTER THE DEADLINE DATE (APRIL 2, 2018) WILL ALSO BE DISQUALIFIED.

The Holy Cross Hospital Auxiliary was organized as a means for community volunteers to contribute financial support to Holy Cross Hospital of Taos, NM and the community it serves. Our scholarship program makes available financial assistance to students pursuing a college level education at an accredited institution.
