PISD will be partnering with MAS Comunidad/The SPOT for service navigation and needs assessment work. This partnership will help with two main areas:
- Helping families learn about and apply for programs and services.
- Helping the district learn about our families’ needs.
PISD is applying for many grants. Knowing what our community and families need is crucial to developing programs that will meet those needs. This year alone, PISD has received nearly $750,000 in funding for Community Schools, After-school Programs, Tutoring/Mentoring, Gardening, Community History, Supper Programs, and more. The district also benefits from partnerships with El Centro Family Health and Taos Behavioral Health.
All of these programs and funding sources will benefit from a comprehensive needs assessment.
If you do not want Community Health Workers from The SPOT/MASComunidad to contact you for a needs assessment, please contact Community Schools Coordinator Michael Noll: email@example.com,575-779-1466. Let Mr. Noll know that you do not wish to be contacted.
All info gathered during the needs assessment process will be confidential and will only be used to determine overall community needs.
