Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham has announced a new program for housing assistance for people whose finances have been affected by COVID. The program won't start accepting applications until November 2, but the governor is recommending that people begin gathering the three types of required documentation: 

  • Wages (pay stubs, profit/loss sheets if self-employed, or benefits letter for social services)
  • COVID hardship (proof of job loss, furlough, closure of place of employment, and proof of a loss of at least 10% of household income)
  • Housing (lease/payment agreement and proof of delinquency)
